More than performing business and providing services, Midwest Dry Port S/A is an institution that foresees the development of man as a whole. This is why it gives value to the environment in a way that it could insure the quality of life of its employees and of the community. Within such proposal, the company develops and supports cultural and sport events, and of a social-environment responsibility.

From the conception of Dry Port’s project, the environmental impact has been rigorously controlled, complying with the national and international established norms by the involved entities for the sector. Other actions are constantly developed in the sense of promoting a harmonic integration with the communities of Anapolis and its region, many of them are already benefiting through the generation of work openings and through the absorption of qualified workmanship, a fundamental factor for the implantation of new companies.

Midwest Dry Port has the title of “Citizen Company” granted by the Rotary Club of Anapolis for supporting the social projects of the entity. Another responsible action of the company is the collaboration in the maintenance of Instituto Luz de Jesús ( Light of Jesus Institute), which receives children and teenagers in a risk situation and carriers of a physical deficiency - handicap. The institution was founded in 1993 and shelters seventy interns sent by Children and Juvenile’s Court of the municipality. (Local: Rua 38, Qd. 46, Lt. 01-12 Barrio Recanto do Sol – Anápolis-GO).

Internally, the company offers all the physical structure that aims to the well being and the comfort of its employees. Within other projects, are available: Shelter Home and Resting Home; Snack Bar for leisure and Fraternizations; Mini-Library, video, music and internet room. It also offers cultural and sport events like the Snooker Championship; Composition Contest “Histories about our Company” and Beauty Day.

The employees of Midwest Dry Port S/A comply with their Social Responsibility performing their work with quality and productivity, in a way that it can:

• Contribute to the socio-economic, technological and enterprise development of the Midwest;
