The political strength of Anapolis
Due to its importance in the economic logistics of Goias, Anapolis is the second most important municipality of the state (the first of the interior) as far as economy is refer to, it still exercises a strong influence on the politics. There are more than 200 thousand voters, a potential able to define the trends of a dispute in the State.

Anapolis is still the cradle for important names that, throughout the years, have justified the valorization of the Municipality in parliaments and in executive positions. Dozens of deputes, senators, some state governors, ministers and many other politicians well known have already come from Anapolis. Because of such, it is invariably that the City has called the attention and the preference of the most important names of the regional politics that see in the Municipality a spring of unquestionable support for any electoral proposal.  

Anapolis’ Social
A city with a strong Christian appeal, Anapolis has an extraordinary network of social services, including the projects of public power – daycare centers, shelters, old people’s home and the like – many of them with a private initiative or government organizations.

Stores, Masonic houses, service clubs and churches of the most various denominations, keep and manage many establishments, like schools, orphanages, recuperation homes, specialized centers to attend people with special needs and others, many of them employing ultra modern technology and methods.   

With that, the social problems are attenuated, leaving the Municipality much higher than the national average, mainly as far as safety goes. Anapolis strictly speaking still does not confront the severe social problems verified in other communities of similar size, thus allowing an excellent level of quality of life for its citizens.

Paying attention to all of that, Midwest Dry Port has effectively participated on the support for the philanthropic institutions, because it understands that this is a social mission which must be held by all the developments, independently of the size of it. The participation of Midwest Dry Port on social projects in Anapolis has already been constituted in an important brand for the community.
